Precious Cargo (2016)
Jack (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) is pulled back into a life of crime when his ex-girlfriend Karen (Claire Forlani) persuades him to help her get out of hot water with her former boss Eddie (Bruce Willis). She failed her last mission and Karen needs Jack to help her steal precious gems or else she, and her unborn child, will die.
Precious Cargo was released on-demand without a wide theatrical release and I’m not sure why. This movie was a decent watch and is WAY better than some of the mindless action garbage I’ve seen before. Bruce Willis, Claire Forlani and Mark-Paul Gosselaar are recognizable Hollywood names so the addition of faces we recognize is a plus.
As I said before, this movie is a decent and enjoyable watch. The action is typical and the story isn’t anything new, but something about it is fun and entertaining. Obviously, there isn’t a whole lot to break down here so you pretty much have to ask yourself if a simple crime robbery movie is worth a view, and I’m telling you that it is. Check it out, you just might like it! Co-starring John Brotherton, Lydia Hull, Ashley Kirk, and Jenna B. Kelly.
7/10 Stars – Sometimes mindless action comedies with familiar faces can be entertaining, even if they are simple and unoriginal.
