Rating Scale
For each movie I give a 1-10 star rating, but you might ask, “How do you come to the conclusion for a certain rating?” Well here is a table that will help guide you to my thinking as I rate the movies I see.
= Worst Movie Imaginable, Should be burnt and never seen by human eyes again!
= No interest in this movie whatsoever. Bad acting, bad story, just bad!
= This movie might have a few cult followers, but I don’t get it and never will, and I don’t think anyone else will either!
= I didn’t care for it, I’m sure it might get higher marks from someone else, but for me, I just can’t recommend it.
= So – So, might be something that disappointed me on some level (based on actors or hype)
= Wouldn’t say it was enjoyable, but probably had one shining moment or Star.
= Your average run-of-the mill “good movie” that you see all over the place and it works.
= Surprisingly good, something about it shocked me… in a good way.
= Loved it, but not one that I would watch over and over.
= Would watch it anytime, anywhere. Would convince other people to buy it when I’m out shopping!
